From preview you can save it as a pdf

then open the pdf in acrobat or word and save to most of those other formats
.doc, rtf, or txt

Just to make this complete for future generations, you can also print to a PDF from any application that prints in MacOSX.

It's one of the options in the print menu.

Since all of your formats are non-image format, the Preview route (save as PDF or print) is one option. A simpler one might be to open a new file (word, Excel, Powerpoint, Textedit, aso.), then copy and paste the image from Preview.

If you want to bulk-convert several picture, then printing from Preview is the fastest method...

Some of these formats aren't going to preserve the image data, for example translating a JPG into TXT will result in a text file full of random characters. Are you sure this is what you want?

You can embed a JPG in a Word DOC, a WordPerfect WPD, a rich text RTF file or PDF, for example, and it'll preserve the image.

Are you trying to convert to all these formats at once? What are you needing to do with the image, exactly?
