How can I make a high quality dvd of YouTube videos?

This is for my daughter. I am desperate to make her a DVD of Sesame Street songs from YouTube (there's nothing like it available to buy on DVD). Sesame Street has its own YouTube channel of videos at super nice quality, but when I use various websites to download them to my computer - usually by pasting in the URL and downloading via the third party site - the quality is horrible! Really bad, even downloading the "HQ" version.

I need creative ideas on how to accomplish this. I don't mind if the videos lose *some* quality, but they need to be viewable. I'll try just about anything and am handy with my computer. (I wish Sesame Street would offer the videos a la carte, like ITunes, I would pay!)

Surf to a particular video and insert your cursor before the "y" in youtube and type "kick", resulting in a url that looks like this...

http://www.kickyoutube.com/blahblah blah.

Hit RETURN

Once it loads, choose your prefered file type (mp4, mov, etc)

Click "GO"

Once it loads, RIGHT Click "DOWNLOAD"

This will result in a download of a locally viewable youtube file.

You can just download the free realplayer at cnet.com (I've used this site for a decade and never had problems).

Real player comes with a little feature that lets you download youtube videos to .avi files. From there you could assemble a great dvd using Windows dvd maker.

Well, you could try to use HyperCam and record it.

I use Ant Video Downloader to download from youtube hd or any streaming sites.
Download and install Ant Video Downloader in internet explorer or firefox.
Go to the page where the video is playing. Click the Download Button when video is buffering. Close the page or search another video.
When the download completes click the Player Button to play the video.
You will need a converter for you to play it in other players. The video you have download with ant toolbar works with any video converter.
It is totally free and contains no adware or spyware at all.
