when you say google account. I want to believe it is your google adsense account.
Google closed my account seven months ago.According to them the ads on the blog suddenly started getting clicked and they felt , I might be using the wrong methods to boost traffic to my blog and encourage clicks.
I explained to them that I had submitted my blog to search engines and I guess that was the reason for the traffic,
Unfortunately, they didnt restore the ban. Now I use other ads on that blog.
I have heard lots of cases of people getting their ban lifted but no one that I know of.

Has Google Ever deactivated your account, claiming TOS violation?
When you did not violate any TOS or guidelines...
This happened to me a few hours ago I emailed them waiting for them to get this fixed.. I can't figure out what is going on. I had this happen to my hi5 and gawab.com email account suddenly to out of the blue when I am careful not to violate TOS or guidelines.. Only thing I did was update my news blog and wish everyone a happy Veterans day.. I dunno.. Anyone else having this sort of problem happening to them?
