I had it on the xbox 360 and it worked out well. The downsides are that
-If your internet connection speed is interrupted (such as you downloading or someone else downloading something) then it will have to take about 12 seconds to reconfigure and buffer the next section of video.
-Not much of a selection, but it's decent.
-You need a good internet connection to get the most out of it.
It IS very convenient however, as you get them instantly instead of waiting, and you don't have to interchange a million dvd's all of the time.

I have tried Netflix using my HTPC connected to my TV just to see the quality and performance. I have FiOS internet, so bandwidth is no issue. But no good collection, so canceled the account.
