Has anyone owned a Blackberry and an iPhone and preferred the Blackberry?

I have both devices (and use both, one for work, and one for personal use). The BlackBerry is a Bold. They are both powerful devices, but you need to figure out what your needs are as a user. The GPS application from Garmin works on the Bold which makes it much better than the iPhone for trips. The iPhone's browser is more robust and has greater rendering functionality. The fact that the Bold lets you access a lot of PIM data with your computer wherein the iPhone requires you to use iTunes and manage all of your data through iTunes makes me prefer the Bold there as well.
I like both devices, but if you're going to use only one device you have to figure out what your priorities are for non-browser based data, and whether you want more games (like the iPhone) or more business (like the Bold).

I have had both (not for long, only had the iPhone for a month because rogers gave it to my brother who worked there who then let me use it) and I have an ipod touch now. I preferred the blackberry because I do all of my emailing and such on the go and the lack of a physical keyboard makes writing longer emails to be a bit hard. However if i just want to browse the internet or play games then I use my ipod touch (or the iPhone while i had it). So mostly I liked the blackberry more just because it was more functional for me, but might not be the case for everyone.

It had less to do with the iPhone and more to do with the exclusive contract with AT&T

I stuck with the iPhone because I like the applications and iPod features more than the better email functionality. My co-worker went back to a Blackberry because the keyboard made answering email easier.
That is pretty much the decision point between the two -- apps or email?
