Flip Video. Does anyone know if I can take extra large still pictures with this camera? By this I mean 2732 x 4305 pixels.

Which model of the Flip do you have?

If I am not wrong, the original model allowed for 640x480 and some of the newer 'HD' ones offer a bit of a higher res.

Oh, I dont have one, I want to buy a video that will also give me good quality stills. But from the stuff I see, I dont think the flip will do it for me. Thanks for the response.

Actually there is a solution that will do both...albeit a bit pricey.
The Kodak ZI8:

It takes video at 1080p and stills at 5.3mp which translates to 2592x1944 resolution. You might also consider a Canon SD1200 IS which is a digital still camera that also takes video, although the video is not 1080p.
