Hi,
I have used Advanced Remote Info. It will use WMI to pull the server information. It also provides a wealth of other data. Highly recommended tool.

Find product keys in use remotely?
I'd like to find the product keys our servers are using remotely without having to install software on each server and without accessing each server with remote desktop. Is this possible?

The best program I have found is: http://www.ocsinventory-ng.org/. I know you asked for it not be installed; however, you can run a startup script via Active Directory and install the application remotely. It is a great tool and it dumps everything in to a mysql db. Hope this help!?

That is a cool program, but more involved than I can handle right now. Thanks for the suggestion.
