I'm surprised that I haven't heard this complaint from more people. My first guess was that they ignore requests that are 3 months old or older as only my oldest requests are gone.

Facebook requests are gone - does anyone know more?
I had approximately 1200 requests/invitations in Facebook that I hadn't yet accepted but was slowly working my way through. When I just now logged in, it appears that almost all are gone. I have about 80 last split between different applications. All I found in Google was a reference to a discussion board where other people have complained about the same problem but there's no additional information or announcement from Facebook.
Wouldn't they have sent people a warning before doing something so drastic?

I've definitely checked within the last couple days. I think yesterday during the day was the last I checked so probably about 30 hours ago.

I check facebook daily and also noticed that half of my requests are gone. It was also the first time I was prompted for my username and password on the facebook iphone app in as long as I can remember. I'm surprised that I haven't heard this complaint from more people. My first guess was that they ignore requests that are 3 months old or older as only my oldest requests are gone.

If it was an issue with older requests than I would have expected it to seem more like cycling through (a few drop off the end while some new ones come in). I had a fairly large number of recently requests which are gone. To me, it seems like a massive purge that either was completely unintentional or else Facebook users were not informed of site changes. Perhaps they had a storage issue but in that case, it would have seemed far wiser for them to notify users via email with a one week warning such that things you really wanted to accept could have been accepted.

Mine still aren't back. However sometimes when I accept a couple, I then see that I still have the same number of waiting requests so it seems like perhaps those spaces are filled by old ones. Then after ignoring a bunch it stayed the same so I'm still not sure what's going on...

I've emailed facebook but they have made actually contacting them extremely difficult and the email address I used I found only by googling and coming across this website. No reply as yet.. it's been several hours and in that time our ad campaigns have continued to run and I can't stop them or change them.
