Every time my friend forwards an email from AOL, the recipient receives a blank email.
How can this be fixed??

I use Outlook 2003, is there a setting on Outlook that I need to change?? or is it a setting within AOL??
Tomorrow morning, I will be testing to see if any of the advice solves this problem.
If the best answer resolves the issue another $3.00 will be added to your best answer.

Check to see if you have included a blank signature. That will result in messages forwarded being blank.

The blank signature was causing this! We added the signature, and forwarded emails work.

Is it your friend, using AOL, is forwarding emails you receive, using Outlook, and they are blank? Just want to make sure i've got it right. I think its a problem with AOL, if the person forwarding the email includes a blank signature.

If its not that then I'm not sure how you'd find what the problem is without trying lots of different things, Outlook can cause problems occasionally due to different security settings, but if these are the only blank emails you're getting then its unlikely to be an Outlook problem.

Click to reply to the blank emails, does any text from the forwarded email appear when you do? You could also try sending a reply and asking your friend if they can see the original forwarded email along with the reply, but I think you'd be wasting your time.

@mr6562 my friend is using AOL and Im using Outlook 2003, I will try and test out the reply to him to see if he gets the text on his end, and also to make sure that the AOL signature is not throwing things off.

@mr6562 i found out that this is also happening to GMAIL recipients, so its not just a outlook problem

uninstall aol
then reinstall it
the problem is on your friends side

also it wood be better if he/she just copy an paste the msg.
b/c if yawl keep forwarding the msg a spammer/seller might start sending yawl emails to buy stuff or do surveys an so forth.
it don't take much to copy an paste an add multiple email address to the TO LINE :)
