Got rid of MySpace a long time ago... they were useful as a tool simply because another one with a minimum set of requirements didn't exist... and of course the network effect.
But once FB opened up to the masses, the quality of the product outmoded MySpace to history. I'm sure they'll find a niche, but if they try to go toe-to-toe with FB, they are destined to failure.

Myspace has gotten so awful over the last 2 years. I believe its mostly teenagers who actively use it. All about Facebook and Twitter at the moment.

From my experience, I graduated from MySpace to Facebook when I entered high school. MySpace has tried to keep pace but I feel now it is only an appetizer to hold middle schoolers until they get to high school where they can join their classmates.
