Yes, I believe there is an application called TwitBerry, yet I've never used it. Definitely something to look into though.

Ubertwitter is a very feature rich twitter client for the Blackberry. It includes GPS support, Retweet support, automated picture posting etc. It's still in beta and has some rough edges but not many. http://www.ubertwitter.com
