Does anyone know if Blu-ray Players play regular DVDs?

All bluray players WILL play regular DVDS. All Bluray players also upconvert regular DVDS to HD. Not the quality of a Bluray disc but definitely better than a regular DVD player. The Bluray will also play cds for the record. Hope this helps.

Yes - they certainly do. And they upscale the DVDs to output at high definition. This does not mean that the content is truly high definition; however, the DVDs look significantly better since they are presented to the TV as though they were high definition.
