There are 2 ways:
* Select the song name, wait a little (just enough to not trigger a double click) and click again. Then you can edit the name.
* Right click -> Get info. All the editable song info will appear in a new window and you can edit there.

Right-click on the song, and choose "Get Info"
Then click the "Info" tab... you should be able to type whatever you want in the "Name" field.
Click OK to save the change
And you need to more information then go to www.apple.com and look for itunes help..

Just click once on the song in the song list and retype your new name. Hit return when you are done.
