Does anyone know how to add a column or two into an article in Joomla?

You could:

1. Write a custom CSS layout for your template

2. Format the article itself into a table with multiple columns to control the layout of the article.

3. Encourage the Joomla development team to incorporate a "columns per article" function into the next release, because as of J1.5.11 it DOES NOT EXIST.
