Hmm, that's a tough call. I didn't go to TC50, and I haven't had a chance to watch all of the presentations, but I did manage to watch the RedBeacon presentation. Honestly, I thought it wasn't *that* great.
It was a good idea, but the execution seemed a bit off to me -- there seemed to be too many steps involved in getting help (requesting help -- getting responses from workers -- negotiating a price -- settle a time). I don't see too many businesses actively checking RedBeacon for people needing help - it seems like it would just waste some of their time. I'm interested in seeing how good RedBeacon's SMS updates are in notifying businesses of potential work.
