I do prefer Blackberry for the sole reason that you can hold it in one hand and still type. In order to type on an iPhone you need both hands.
The other problem with the iPhone is the battery. if you are away from someplace with a suitable outlet for a long time you can't swap the batteries with a Blackberry you can buy and keep around extra battery packs.
