Do you know of a free service or download that can compress the file size of videos for Mac?
I am looking for something simple that will allow me to compress the size of a video I recorded on my camera phone.

HandBrake

(although their site isn't loading for me at the moment.)
mac native, will do practically any transcoding task you throw at it.

Yeah. HandBrake is probably your best option for quality and free price.

Handbrake is great. Don't forget iMovie though. It's installed on your Mac and can compress files for several uses and filesizes. Then, if you are feeling brave there is ffmpeg. A command line converter for almost any format. Website: http://ffmpeg.org/
