I didn't really get on with the original iPhone Web App for Facebook. It wasn't very intuitive, took ages to load some pages, and the javascript had more bugs than I care to remember!
However, their new native application for iPhone is absolutely superb! They've really used the iPhone UI well, my only complaint is the support for looking through a users photos. If someone has a couple of hundred photos, looking for a specific one can be a painful task.
Besides that - no real issues at all, I enjoy using it, and probably use it more than their normal web client at the moment!

I think the Blackberry client is just terrible. It has a few features that are easy to do, such as look at pictures and see status updates. But the things that I really want to do (look at a particular friend's profile, for example) are not easy to do and not intuitive. It's just a poorly designed client altogether.
The iPhone facebook app is WAY better. You have a listing of all your friends right there, you can view and send messages, work on your own profile, look at any of your friends' pages, anything you want to do. That is a very good mobile client.
I don't know why the two are so different, but they definitely are.

I have used two different Facebook mobile clients. The first one is on the Blackberry (7290 and 8310) and the second is on the iPhone. I think the Blackberry client is just terrible. It has a few features that are easy to do, such as look at pictures and see status updates. But the things that I really want to do (look at a particular friend's profile, for example) are not easy to do and not intuitive. It's just a poorly designed client altogether.
