Can you create a link to a YouTube video where the annotations are off?

I know you can turn off annotations by default for yourself if you have an account, but can I create a link to send to a friend who may not have done so?

The page below describes a method to turn them off for embeded video, but I just want a link.

Try this format

http://www.youtube.com/v/xDU6tUy5f5o&hl=en&fs=1

Using the /v/ instead of "watch" strips out all the nonsense.
Asker's Rating:
• Whilst this takes up the entire screen, at least it removes the annotations.

A caption from the article:
To disable annotations on a video you'd like to embed on another site,
just add the following parameter to the video's embed code:

&iv_load_policy=3

Yes, that works for embedding a video, but as I said in the question, I just want to send a link.

Ohh... I thought you were looking for a link to explain how to do it.

Sorry for the confusion.

The answer is still the same.

Add:
&iv_load_policy=3

To the end of the URL.

Eg:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwTZ2xpQwpA&iv_load_policy=3

In that case, you just add &iv_load_policy=3 to the end of the link. It should do the same effect.
