Can one rely on Google Analytics as their main sales/statistics resource for a (mid-size) e-commerce site?

Yeah, it sounds like Analytics is good enough for a lot of smaller businesses, although if you are truly "mid-sized" -- i.e. much more established than a small startup operation -- it couldn't hurt to at least consider getting results from other inexpensive services like VisiStats...some advise that Google Analytics is a great place to start for brand new businesses, but that some other options might come in handy for those who are a little further along...
