You sure can - you can build a custom XP cd that includes extra drivers, software, and even one that installs silently without you having to answer any setup questions.
The steps are simple but there are a lot and you have to be very precise, so I suggest you look at a free tool called nLite, available from www.nliteos.com that guides you through the whole process.

Can I embed SCSI drivers into a Windows XP Pro backup CD for installation into a server/PC with SCSI hard drives ?
Not really sure if I can, I'm still perplexed as to why windows after all these years doesn't work in symbioses with most SCSI drives. The controller within my server is an Adaptec, its the first that will come up in any Google search. From what I know windows does and can support some SCSI drives natively, mine years old and one of the most predominant used yet I have to use a floppy. I threw out all my floppies a long long time ago, no shops around here sell em and its a bit of a wait til I can get one delivered to me.
I have tried using nLite which easily inserts drivers into a copy of XP which I can burn and a full install works using this method on an IDE HDD machine but it still doesn't recognise SCSI drivers. I've tried emulating the floppy using a USB key but the server won't boot off USB and when I hit F6 to install third party SCSI drivers it will only let me use A: , as I already tried adding another CD-ROM and loading them off there. I haven't yet tried CD emulation of the A: drive but this is getting frustrating. It's about an hours drive to the nearest place I can find that sells a floppy and so far this looks like my only solution. Oh also I'm using a RAID array if that makes any difference.
HAH!! This is an edit so I suppose my next question is can I answer my own questions, but to anyone who needs the answer to the above question heres a link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/246184/
