Can anyone recommend a garmin that lets you manually input coordinates?

Any of their outdoor units should allow this, like the GPSMAP 60. The aviation units should as well. In my experience with the gpsmap 60 you essentially have to create a waypoint by hitting the mark button first then go to the lat/lon box and enter what you want. If you want decimal format or HMS format you'll have to change the main settings.
