Go to the Desktop Manager, then Backup and Restore and Advanced. Under device databases, select Browser Data Cache and click "Clear." That should work.

Question

Mahalo is adding a tip to all questions that don't offer a tip.
How can I backup my information (including my custom words) on my BlackBerry Bold?
The program reads almost all of my memory until it gets to the "custom words" section. It then cannot read the database. Any suggestions how to make my Bold work?

I had this same problem. Clearing the cache worked for me.

Cache clear usually works. If your browser freezes and keeps failing to sync after you try the other suggestions, there's an update to Blackberry Desktop Manager 4.7. You can get the latest updates off the blackberry software page: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22 but make sure you completely uninstall your earlier DM.
