XCLIO A380BK - This case has a unique look due to its HUGE front fan (this is actually a wonderful addition to the case if you are going to have a lot of parts inside, big fan = lots of airflow but low fan speed which keeps things quiet):

RAIDMAX AZTEC - Since you mentioned having space to get in and mess around inside the case I have to suggest this case. With it's fold out design you gain a lot of access into the case that others don't offer.

NZXT Nemesis Elite - Just take a look at the design of this one, I think it will speak for itself:

LOGISYS Area 51 - Since you did mention Alienware cases are cool this is a similar designed case for you to check out and it is under $50.

Being a science fiction fan, what computer case should I buy?
I am in the process of upgrading my computer. Right now, I have a mid-size tower that is pretty ugly and bland. I would like to get a new case that shows off the insides of my PC. However, that is not a priority.
I would like something that has a science-fiction theme. Alienware cases are pretty cool.
The case should have the following requirements:
1) Be in the $50 - $150 range
2) Science fiction themed. Or at least with a futuristic look.
3) Be large enough to get my hands in there while I'm installing my 3rd hard drive and 2nd video card.
Thanks for any recommendations!
(ps, have a Merry Christmas!)

There are a lot of options for you in that price range but I will try to narrow down my answer to 2 or 3 cases I have actually used and/or dealt with when building for clients.
