I still don't see why I should switch from Google, which does a great job for my search needs... If I am unable to find something on Google I am more likely to come to Mahalo and ask the community here instead of going to Bing. While it is an interesting site idea (and they did good on the design so it is a pretty site to go to) I just don't understand the concept I guess...

Many of the features that Bing brings to the table are already present in the almighty Google, however there are some differences.
I enjoyed the Rich Listing option in Bing where you get a single page of formatted results specific to the topic you searched...
Bing also offers a travel section which was nice. (guess MS is looking to get some revenue from online travel booking)
All in all Bing has a different feel than what many are used to in Google.
The concepts of the two are similar and Microsoft will have to try a little harder if they wish to take a major market share from Google with Bing.

I've heard it has good shopping features and cash back options.

I was a die-hard AltaVista user when Google hit the scene. Eventually I switched over. Right now I'm having fun with my Google Web History. Time will tell if I become a regular Bing user. There are some interesting articles on the Mahalo Microsoft Bing page.

I have been using Bing recently to see what Micro$oft has to offer. Many of the features that Bing brings to the table are already present in the almighty Google, however there are some differences.

It may only be me, but i kind of feel that the results are just the same as Live. The interface has changed, though i don't see making "better decisions" using bing. I still use google, and yahoo. Even though I use Windows Live for email, the search feature never really appealed to me, and it appears that bing is just not my search engine.

Yes. I do use it now an again to mix things up. I'm just sick of google's results sometimes. I've heard it has good shopping features and cash back options.

Initially I wouldn't try Microsoft Bing because I didn't like the name or the source. I have test driven it a few times now and it does give better local information, and I like the related search information too. The u/x is definitely nice.
