I would be interested to the answer to these questions:
1)
Moist released "Silver" in 1994 independently. Since then, it has gone quadruple platinum in Canada and has reached across the globe as an influential album.
A lot has changed since 1994. The music industry has undergone a fundamental shift and marketing itself has changed.
What strategies would you use to market a new album in 2009? Do you think that the Internet or technology in general would change the process?
2)
Do you see electronic distribution of music as piracy or a form of marketing that can be controlled and shaped?
Specifically, has the advent of MP3 music and digital distribution changed the way that you create music?
3)
The Internet and Canadian content laws in general are founded on fair, open access and sharing. However, Canadians are currently the last to receive access to new technologies and methods such as iTunes and other portals because of the laws encouraged by the CRTC and Cancon.
Do you think that the CRTC and Cancon help or hinder Canadian music?

On a more serious note, Id love to hear his first hand thoughts on the roles record labels will play in the coming years and his thoughts on music discovery in the digital music age.
Some solo David Usher stuff for those that do not know his stuff (which IMHO is great!)
