I have no doubt that clearcutting is still in practice in BC. "Clear-cutting" is just a harsh way of saying "cutting down trees" is it not, BC is certainly still cutting down trees. You don't have to go far to find the evidence even if its not published, just be big brother and check out Google Maps.

Since 1998 has clear-cutting stopped in the province of British Columbia? If so, what renewable resources man
- 1998 Macmillan Bloedel decided to no longer-clear cut B.C's old growth forests after large protests. Internet sites are unclear as to their actual success in this area.
- 1999 "macblo" was sold to Weyerhaeuser a US company apparently responsible for wide spread clear-cutting world wide.
- I cannot find a lot more about the issues after this point.
