Taxing obesity: is taxing fatty foods and soda the answer to stopping obesity in the US?
Policy makers are seriously thinking about taxing soda and pizza to fight obesity in the US. What are your thoughts? Is this ridiculous? Could it work? All thoughts are welcome!

No it won't work even with the tax it would still be cheaper to eat the bad stuff than it would to eat healthy. look around you a candy bar is cheaper than a salad. a hamburger at fast food is cheaper than a sit down resturant. Its all just another way for the greedy government to take our money. "more, more, more" is all they want. No one is going to care about you but you, and the government is only out to exploit you and the problems that it has created. They should do something constructive to help the people instead of trying to just put more money in their pockets. But of course that's just how I feel about it.
