What happens to the ''Survivor'' contestants once they leave the show?

Are they sequestered like jurors, can they go back to their real lives. Do they get to vacation in the exotic locale?

As I understand it, they go to "Camp Survivor". This is a place where they are sequestered until the end of the game. I think it's everyone, but it could just be the jurors only.

Supposedly they get hot showers and are fed 3x meals a day. Just like camp!

The first few contestants are sequestered for a few weeks then go back home in small groups to avoid having the public guess who won. After a set amount (different each show depending on the starting number) are eliminated, they are held in Survivor Ponderosa, a camp where they are allowed to enjoy the luxuries their location has to offer, hot showers, booze, food and more.
