Surely the Ferrari FXX cannot stay at the top of the Top Gear lap board as it is not road legal?

One thing I've noticed about Top Gear is that, in a humorous way, they're always willing to bend the rules when convenient. I completely understand your point, but my guess is that it's going to be staying.
