Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Apparently you should ask who is playing, since I seem to have a bit of trouble with that one today.

However, here are a few ideas:
  1. Top 5 Super Bowl moments (with clips)
  2. Worst Super Bowl moments/Bloopers (with clips)
  3. Greatest super bowl quarterback, coach, defense, offense, (with explanation)
  4. Best moment of each quarter (of the current game)--I would say provide incentive for people to upload them onto YouTube and post the clip here.
  5. Best things to do during the Super Bowl if you hate football.
I'm sure I'll add more later.

The Chicago Tribune ran an article about great things you can bet on (or ask about).
http://www.chicagotribune.com/features/lifestyle/chi-0129-super-bowl-betsjan29,0,6952872.story

Some of the questions include:
Who will the Super Bowl MVP thank first?
What commercial will be the highest rated on the USA Today Annual Super Bowl Ad Meter?
What song will Bruce Springsteen play to begin the halftime show?
Which NBC program will get the most promos during the game?
How many food items will John Madden mention during the game?

It's like you can read my mind.
Your #5 would have been my first suggestion for a question to be asked.

yay! this has made me more excited about tomorrow's game.

1. I'm looking forward to eating a lot of junk food, seeing some interesting or funny commercials, and watching a good game.

2. You should ask what kind of set-up people are watching the game on and encourage them to post pics. Or ask what people are wearing while they watch the game. I know I'll be wearing my Felix Jones jersey!

I also think it would be fun if you could ask some random questions that would prove someone was paying close attention to the game or commercials. Something like, "What was Britney Spears wearing in that budweiser commercial?" or "What did xxxx do after he made his 2nd touchdown of the game?".

Looking forward to the Mahalo Bowl! Sounds like a lot of fun! I don't even know who is playing (just kidding), but maybe a question about the Super Bowl commercials. You maybe should ask some questions about the teams to keep us on our toes first, then head out and ask about the commercials, the half time shows, etc.

Here's a list:

1. Who is playing type of questions
2. What commercials and what's so great about them
3. The best score guesser before the game (obviously latecomers wouldn't be able to answer after the game)
4. The funniest play
5. The best Superbowl victories
6. Who will be the MVP before the game
7. How the Superbowl coaches would react by being watered and which one is the best picture ever?
8. Synopsis of the game, who can provide the best first quarter, and half showdown
9. Who can find the best first half clips for the superbowl online before the game is over?
10. Who has pictures of the food they are eating?

Mahaloans should be able to vote, after major plays, on whether that particular play will break open the game. Also, at the beginning of a drive, guesses on how it will end. (how many plays, running/passing, punt/interception/FG/TD)

Of course that's just for people who actually watch the game.

but what's the point?  to promote Mahalo to the other people?

This sounds fun!

I am looking forward to preparing our Superbowl feast and watching the game with my hubby. Screaming at the TV... optional. ;-)

I would ask about specific penalties, player stats, certain details in commercials and clothing/hair details (camera shots of fans).

I'll be watching the ads. I've done this for years because the ads tell me a lot about how the economy is doing. In the late 90's, there were a lot of financial institutions offering investment products, and quite a bit of tech. This year - well I have my 3D glasses for the lizard soft drink ad!
I'm looking forward to hanging out with the neighbors, drinking beer, recording the commercial data and...oh, yeah - the game!
