I am hearing strong rumors that a horn section may accompany Springsteen and the E Street Band at the Super Bowl. That leads me to believe we will get "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out." Good choice - always a crowd favorite at live shows. I think it would be a fantastic opener and set a real party tone. I also think it would be the shortest version of "Tenth" in Springsteen history!
Springsteen absolutely MUST include "Born to Run" and possibly even "Badlands." Both are classics, and again - I think it would really get the crowd going. I also hope he includes "The Rising." While I enjoyed the Inauguration Day version, I would love to see it performed with the full band.
I also think we'll get at least one, if not more, songs from his new album "Working on a Dream." Possibly the title track - if not, then I'd say "My Lucky Day."
My guesses (based on being a die-hard fan for 30 years+):
1. "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out"
2. "Born to Run"
3. "Badlands" or "Promised Land"
4. "The Rising"
5. "Working on a Dream" or "My Lucky Day"
Not sure how many of these he can fit in because of the time constraints, but I'd love to see this group together.
