Yup, she was not paid for her performance. Bruce Springsteen wasn't paid for his halftime performance either, but they did pay him for his expenses. Seems to be more and more common that mainstream starts are doing public venue performances to stay in the spotlight and reach different people that they may have not in their everyday career.
