The Stumble button is your quick access to the Internet. Clicking on it will take you to a website that corresponds to your interests. What website you go to depends on your friends, groups, preferences and how popular the website is within those categories.

The Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down buttons let you rate the website you are on. If this is the first time the website has been rated, you will be asked to choose an appropriate topic for the website. You can also write in a small review if you want.

The Send To button allows you to send the website to a friend. They do not have to be a part of the StumbleUpon network to receive a website from you, and the toolbar will save the email address so the next time you want to send something to that friend you don't need to type in the email address again. You can also import your address list from Yahoo, MSN, Gmail, AOL, or Facebook.

The Review button allows quick access to all the reviews for the website. You can also write your own review. It's much like writing a comment on your favorite blog, but you can comment on any website.

This series of buttons are called Channels. They will take you to a web page matching your interests, a news item, an image, a video, or simply a page that was given a thumbs up from someone on your friends list. You can also change it to target all of your interests or a specific interest like books, music, or humor.

The Favorites button will take you to your StumbleUpon account and show which websites you have give a thumbs up.
The Friends button will take you to your friends list and even suggest friends.
The Tools button allows you to modify your preferences, update topics that interest you, report a site as spam, sign in to your account, change your password, and chance your toolbar, or invite friends.

Yes, this is a great answer.

I can only think of one thing to add which is related more to Stumbleupon in general than the actual toolbar. If you see a picture you like (it cannot be too big) you can right click on it and Stumbleupon Photoblog it. What this means is that the actual picture will show up in your reviews. It's a pretty cool feature.

I have been on Stumbleupon for a while now and I absolutely love it! Fee free to subscribe to my favorites.

Right, well, there's absolutely nothing I can add to this because @vladis has given the best answer I've ever seen from a Green Belt, but I WILL say that now you have to go ahead and add me on Stumble! :D

Ok, I just went to Stumble and found out that they took away the feature of adding friends, but we can still subscribe to each others' Stumbles so I've subscribed to yours and you can subscribe to mine. If you want to! ;)
