Strict regulations for tobacco but why not alcohol and fast food?

By now, we should all know that smoking, alcohol and junk food are seriously detrimental to your health. As a smoker, I totally agree that the tobacco industry should be regulated, especially after reading yesterday that the tobacco industry are now focusing in (yet again) on women. Camel no 9 packs are being designed to look similar to the channel 5 packaging. Smoking is not glamourous, it causes aesthetic problems as well as serious health issues.
I'm not much of a drinker, nor much of a fast food eater. I am not a big fan on the taste of either, to be honest. I think that drinking especially can be lethal due mainly to the things some people do while under the influence. Not only is there drink driving, but also fighting, vandalism and a whole world of other negative things. However, when you see a beer or spirits ad on tv, it's always portrayed as extremely glamorous to drink certain brands. I don't find anything glamourous about having a drunk driver slam into my car, or a drunk peeing in my garden. This is without considering the implications of alcohol abuse.
Fast food also, always advertised as cool and family friendly. Well, it's not so family friendly when you're 30 and 300lb, or your 10 year old child is diagnosed with diabetes!
Regulated advertsing for all, I say. Show the flipping dangers, just as you do with tobacco.

M$I also think there is more negative health effects of tobacco than fast food and alcohol. Alcohol is dangerous because the person consuming it makes poor decisions (driving drunk or drinking too much). The effects of fast food can be lessened by exercise and a vitamin pill. Tobacco in general (in my opinion) causes more harm to the individual. It can also be lessened with exercise but i dont think to a greater effect as fast food can be.
Good point though. Why is marijuana illegal when "kills" less people than tobacco or alcohol. I think this is because of politicians and ignorant people, same thing with less restrictions on alcohol and fast food.
I dont think there should be any restrictions on anything. No one is forcing us to consume these products, so why restrict them? If i get obese b/c of fast food then shame on me.
