Strange yet healthy and delicious, do you have a recipe that would be considered strange or unique?
One such recipe that was contributed in past was the Island Druids Sea Weed Ice Cream:

The recipes should be holistic, and good for you, containing natural (preferably organic) ingredients, with instructions as to how (if containing meat products) they can be made for a vegetarian life style.
Recipes for main dishes, deserts, snacks etc are all welcome. The stranger the better, so be creative.
Pictures of some of the more strange or unique ingredient would help.

Different yet delicious = White Bean Pie It's even easy to prepare!
1 Cup mashed white navy beans (canned or freshly cooked)
1/2 stick of butter
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar

Mix well. Pour into an unbaked *pie crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
*I like to use whole wheat pie crust which I purchase at the local health food store.
