stranded man uses silent, unlimited range ray gun but is overrun by savage animals. short story title please?? "ultimate weapon"? similar???
animals are not afraid to attack; the ray gun instantly zaps what it hits out of existence with no sound. the weapon has no deterent factor but has unlimited range and is punching holes through the planet disrupting the planets very existence. I cannot remember this Science Fiction short story's title, author or anything else to help identify it. I'm hoping someone will recognize the story from my abreviated plot summary and give me information so that I can identify and locate this story.
