I work at a retail consulting company as a research analyst, what sites provide good sales statistics?

Specifically, in this case, I need to find out some stats for the home furnishings industry. If possible, something that can tell me how well certain items (like kitchen curtains) have been performing (these don't have to be industry wide numbers, just for a certain retailer would be insightful).

Obviously, I also would like to know how well Home Furnishings divisions do within major retailing chains

In CPG (consumer packaged goods) AC Nielsen and IRI are the two top providers. Nielsen, of course gets info from consumers, and IRI gets their data from scan information from the retailers themselves. I don't know specifically about home furnishings, but some of the larger retailers and manufacturers use both of these resources
