status of Time Warner and Fox Network
negotiations

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

According to news.yahoo.com, Time Warner and Fox Network agreed to extend their contract for a few hours but negotiation is still in the works. Happy New Year!!!

-quote-

"Fox and Time Warner Cable extended their contract for a few hours, avoiding a threatened blackout of several stations from the cable provider while the two sides tried early Friday to resolve a disagreement over fees.

Time Warner Cable Inc. made the announcement as the clock rolled past midnight Thursday on the East Coast. In a brief statement at 5:30 a.m. EST Friday, Scott Grogin, Fox senior vice president for communications, said "we are still negotiating."

Mahalo encourages using your own words as much as possible in your answers. You can learn more about copy-pasting guidelines on Mahalo here:

Unfortunately without more of your own words I cannot vote your answer as best.

"Most importantly when you copy and paste text into an answer on Mahalo Answers, you need to separate the copied text from your original text. What we prefer on Mahalo Answers is that you add --quote-- at the beginning and ---/quote--- at the end of the copied text. For shorter sentences and paragraphs it is also acceptable to use quotation marks.

Acknowledge your paste job by mentioning the source in your answer text and it is essential and vital that you provide a link to the exact location where you found the text you copied."
