You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

2. Sales workers and Truck drivers have the highest number of deaths.
3. No. I'd rather clean toilets.
Considering you are at the mercy of the sea I would never go on a fishing boat and try to catch fish, crab, lobster, whatever. The fish isn't worth it! Driving a truck is not good either because statistically 1 out of 10 drivers on the road are drunk.
I'd go be a housekeeper at a hotel before I'd do either.

M$Quoting from the World Health Organization (WHO) website -

"Globally, asbestos alone is responsible for 100,000 occupational deaths per year. Meanwhile, in the agricultural sector, which employs half the world’s workforce and is predominant in most underdeveloped countries, the use of pesticides causes some 70,000 poisoning deaths each year.."

Asbestos industry is the most dangerous place to work based on the number of deaths caused per year in this industry, i.e., more than 100,000 deaths per year globally.

I would do such a job only when I had nothing to do or nothing is left to do.
(This might be a totally wrong answer, but during my google search, I find these alarming facts and thought that it would be good for us to know about asbestos-related hazards).

2. Over which time period? One year, or all of human history? It's not easy to get accurate worldwide statistics, and the US is not like many other countries.

M$Although there are still certainly some prostitutes who do what they do willingly. Others do so because they have found themselves in difficult situations, while even more fall prey to sex trafficking. Prostitution is the oldest profession known to man, but to many, it is still considered slavery rather than an actual vocation.

M$We've pretty much done this topic before...

Of course we don't actually have stats for the whole world, and the most dangerous places and jobs are probably particularly least likely to have reliable stats available.
But basically: "What I said before."
