Next Question
This is actually a very interesting question because officially the first Triple Crown winner was Sir Barton, who won the title unofficially in 1919, but after many years of heated debate, in December of 1950, was posthumously awarded the trophy. There is a great website geared toward horse racing fans that is loaded with thousands of very unique stories not normally published by racing publications. The website is www.horseracegame.com /community. They have an incredible accumulation of interesting horse racing statistics. For reference, this website is tied to a very realistic 3D horse racing game.
