Paul Ince (Man Utd) , was the first Black player to captain England in June 1993.
He was also the first black manager of a premier league team during his short stay as Blackburn Rovers Manager in 2008

However the first black player to captain Scotland was Andrew Watson, (Queen's Park) Born 1857 in British Guiana, played 36 games for the Spiders, winning the Cup in 1881.
