Basically not much difference, both known for their outside shooting, specifically 3 point shooting. Korver is a slightly better rebounder and Kapono a little better 3 point shooter, but basically the same player. I think the Sixers getting Kapono shows they know they made a huge mistake getting rid of Korver, their only legitimate 3pt shooting threat. They haven't had that threat since.

Same position. Same shooter from the outside. The difference is Kyle Korver has a modeling/acting career after his basketball career as he looks like Ashton Kutcher.
