Bench player in the NBA, simply because basketball is a more exciting sport to watch. You would get a front row seat to the games simply by dressing in a uniform and practicing.

I think I would rather be a bench player in the MLB. Being in the dugout you still have a front row seat, yet you still maintain some degree of privacy. I would imagine the comraderie is better in the dugout as well.

NBA. Shorter season, more money, no worries about being rained on, and bench players in the NBA get to play on a pretty regular basis.
Bench player in MLB, stricly because I used to play a lot of baseball. Have been a fan and a player since a little boy
MLB, spending all summer sitting out in the shade with a front row seat to over 150 professional baseball games, get paid and play a little catch.
