It was sad to see him suffer a severe concussion on a great 7 yard touchdown play.

Their coach does not know when he will be back as of right now, Best is definitely going to be out in their next game against Arizona, and it is likely that he will miss out on all 3 of the Cal's games that they have left. But he may have a chance to play in their bowl game.

As for his impact on Cal, he will surely be missed because he is the star tailback for them, he has had more than 800 yards rushing this year and 12 TD's! The Cal Bears must now rely more on their quarterback to throw the ball if they want to be just successful as they have been. Kevin Riley is a very talented quarterback for them, but whether he will step up to the challenge in the absence of best remains to be seen.
