What is the best sport for a under 13 year old kids to play? Please explain why

Soccer, for some of the same reasons above, but also it contributes to developing hand-foot coordination and stamina. These two attributes help in all other sports. The rules of soccer aren't as complex and technical as football or baseball.

Soccer.

Cheap, only around $200 a season, and not much equipment to buy.
It's easy, it doesn't require much skill, just running and kicking.
Promotes teamwork.
Raises confidence and self esteem.
Safer than some sports such as Football and Hockey.

Would agree with soccer.

I might also suggest volleyball. It promotes teamwork (it's a very team-oriented game) and doesn't involve getting hit by other players.

The key thing is to get out and be active at something.

I think any team sport would be a good sport for a 13 year old or younger to play. They learn about teamwork, togetherness, and team unity.
