What is Cities have won the most Sports Championships?

Combining the big 4 pro sports NFL (Super Bowl), NHL (Stanley Cup), NBA (NBA Finals), MLB (World Series)

For example Toronto has won 13 Stanley cups + 2 world series, so Toronto has 15 championships.

The city of New York has a total of 38 Championship titles for the Super Bowl, Stanley Cup, NBA Finals and the World Series.

New York Yankees have 26 Championships, which is also the most of any pro team that I am aware of, the Montreal Canadians have a total of 24.

New York Rangers have 4 Championships.

New York Giants have 7 league Championships, 4 NFL Championships and 3 Super Bowls Championships.

New York Jets have 1 league Championship and 1 Super Bowl Championship.

New York Mets have 2 Championships

New York Knicks have 2 Championships

Ok the Steelers have won 6 Super Bowls, the Penguins have 2 Cups and the Pirates (I just checked) have 5 World Series.

So that gives Pittsburgh 13 championships in Total.

Probably not the most, but were learning here.

NFL Super Bowl:

San Francisco 49ers have won 5 Super Bowls

NHL Stanley Cup:

Montreal Canadiens have won 24 Stanley Cups

NBA Finals:

From 1957–1969 the Celtics went to the finals 12 times in 13 years and were victorious in 11 tries, including 8 years in a row.

The Boston Celtics have made it to the Finals 20 times and have won 17.

MLB World Series:

The New York Yankees have won 26 World Series

Conclusion:

Counting the New York Yankees alone with winning 26 World Series, the City of New York has won more professional sport titles than any other city.
