This question has been here for awhile and it appears nobody knows the answer, in fact I searched forever and could not find only a couple reference to a baseball league, but no noteworthy sources.
I think your best option for finding information would be to contact the Texas Baseball Hall of Fame (assuming it's a baseball team)
