What are the ugliest team uniforms from any sport?

Images will certainly help, even an explanation of why they are the worst, and if there are any links to articles about how bad they are, that would be great too.

The worst team uniform was the Cleveland Indians of the mid 1970s, they were all red. Just think if you were playing against he Indians during the 1974 to 1978 seasons. It's first not good to dress in one solid color uniform, and second they all looked like tomatoes on the field. Even their shoes were all red.

You can't possibly think these Philadelphia Eagles Throwback Uniforms weren't the worst ever. This was in 2007!!


Bright yellow with Powder Blue shoulder/numbers?
Color psychology: "Yellow builds self-confidence and encourages optimism."
Could anyone really be confident in that?


But they were effective!!
They took down the Detriot Lions 56-21

And you know how rough the Lions were that year :P

I would have to say some of the uniform worn by professional golfers have been the ugliest ever. Here are a couple of the biggest fashion offenders.

John Daly has been on of the worst offenders.



Whomever this is certainly has the wrong idea on luck.



John Daly just won't quit



The Three Stooges did the ugly golf uniform so well... it really suited them.

Whoever thought up the Wrestling Singlet ought to be jailed for being the optimum perv. Can anyone explain why these hideous garments are inflicted upon all wrestlers, amateur and pro? My God! Put it on, and it's just like saying, "Guess I won't be going to the pickup bar tonight..." It's a crime, I tell ya.

I'm glad I don't have to wear them; but, I think those are actually based on practicality for the sport. They have to be able to grip and grab each other's shoulders and would tear cloth, but if nothing went around their neck their shorts would get pulled down or off during the match. The real old Greeks used to wrestle nude but modern audiences are too prudish, I guess.

Houston Rockets 1995-2002 (the Pinstripes) and the Toronto Raptos 1995-1999 (the Raptor scare me off when you try to dunk on me).

My vote will go to Sumo wrestling.

Some may ask what uniform you are talking about? But seriously, the name of their uniform is Mawashi. A thick loincloth that also shows the ranking of the Sumo westler - the lower rank wrestler can only wear darker color Mawashi and the senoir boys can wear more colorful Mawashi. The highest rank wrestler is called Yokozuna.

Sumo is a 2,000 years old sport that is very popular and entertaining in Japan. This national sport of Japan starts from January and ends on November.
