Yes that is too high. They will get knocked clear out of the polls in a matter of weeks.
I can see them losing to Vandy, Auburn, Tenn, and LSU.
They will definitely lose to 'Bama.
Honestly, you must be looking at some odd rankings.
AP Top 25 has Ole Miss at #20,
USA Today has them at #24
and
BCS has them at #25.

I agree with you that this is way too high. They do have a good defense and QB, but it is Ole Miss. Tim Brando and whoever his sidekick is reportedly have them ranked in the top 5. I think they will beat Vandy, Tenn and probably Auburn, but will lose to LSU and Bama. Good answer!

I agree that they will put up a good fight against Vandy, Tenn and Auburn. I would be surprised if they beat 2 of them though.
